About McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park
McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park is operated by Service Corporation International (SCI), the largest corporate funeral chain in the United States, so families should be aware that it is not independently owned, though the on-site staff appear to function with a consistent local presence and personal touch. The funeral home offers full-service burial and cremation options, and reviewer comments suggest they have experience serving veterans and can accommodate personalized services, including on-site cemetery arrangements at the adjoining Sharon Memorial Park. Pricing data was not available for this location, so families are encouraged to request an itemized General Price List directly, which funeral homes are legally required to provide. On Google, McEwen holds a 4.6-star rating across 165 reviews, with customers frequently praising individual staff members by name for their patience and compassion — though at least one reviewer described a deeply negative experience tied to pre-existing plot arrangements, which may be worth asking about directly if you are working with previously purchased burial property.

He had wanted them to care for his final arrangements for as long as I had known him. They were very nice when they met with the family beforehand…
